Crooners The Legendary Andy Williams

Knowing what to carry in your gig bag is one of the first things that you learn when you become a musician. After all, your gig bag is the equivalent of a business man's briefcase, and it should have every tool that you expect to need right inside of it. As a trumpet player, mutes are one of the most important things that you should carry in your bag.

Chris Brown Throws Another Homophobic, Hate Filled Temper Tantrum In Vegas!

Chris Brown once again acted like a petulant, entitled, homophobic child with serious aggression issues?!
You don't say!
That's right, the singer once again put his best foot forward while pAArtying at a Vegas nightclub last night, and according to an eyewitness present, he once again dropped a particularly not-so-pleasant, extremely offensive gay slur at the bouncers [...]

Hopefully she'll be less cold to her ACTUAL child!!!

During a recent interview, child actor Jared Gilmore who previously played January/Betty Draper's son on Mad Men opened up about the actress's on-set attitude.

Here's the advice that Jared had to give his replacement actor about January:

"Be careful around January [Jones]. She’s not as approachable as the others. She’s really serious about what she does. Everyone else is so nice."

Brrrr, Ms. Jones! We think it's great that you're very focused while at work....but just because your character Betty Draper is cold DOESN'T mean you also have to be cold, especially to the kids on set!

Just sayin'!

Joel McHale Not Allowed To Make Fun Of The Kardashians On The Soup

Uh-oh, someone's in trouble…
Joel McHale has revealed that he's not allowed to make fun of the Kardashians on his show The Soup, which airs on E!, the same station as Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Joel says:
"I know the Kardashians don’t like me. Reality stars without exception have come up to me and have said, [...]

Earlier we told you about the possibility of re-editing the upcoming season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

We can now officially tell you that YES, they will be going back into post-production to work around the Russell Armstrong storyline.

Russell, who was found hanging in a Mulholland Drive home, held a dramatic role on the television show along with estranged wife Taylor Armstrong. The two were portrayed surrounded by -- what seemed to be -- never-ending problems.

We're glad they made the right decision. Airing his dirty laundry now would just be tacky.

The new season's premiere has been postponed past the original air date of September 5. No official word on the new date.

Rest in peace, Russell.

If you're ever in need, please call 1-800-273-TALK (8255). They can help.

Did you just start learning to play guitar? If so, you probably have noticed that there are bad days and good days. One day you can play all of chords with ease and nothing seems simpler. The other day you can hardly make a decent sound to come out. Why is that? Why do so many beginners face this nasty problem?

Bach, the Guitar and the Meaning of Life

In this article we will take a look at the evolution of the American Singer Songwriter from Robert Johnson to Woody Guthrie, to Dylan, to Townes Van Zandt, to Lucinda Williams, to the Avett Brothers, Langhorne Slim and much in between. The Singer Songwriter has impacted virtually every American music genre because, after all, it begins with the song. Make no mistake, the singer songwriter, only armed with his or her instrument, provides the purest form of musical expression; poets whose rhythmic verse is put to music.

Songwriting Getting Started With Chords

I am afraid I am one of those sound engineers that has grumbles about the quality of music that so many people listen to and am concerned that the only mediums they use to listen to music are of questionable quality. And to me this is a shame because music producers like myself put a lot of effort into capturing the best recording and making the best mix of other artists and my own creative music. Perhaps all this hard work is wasted on what is largely a lo-fi and low resolution audience? Or do I just need to get real?

Features You Need To Make The Beat

The Best Music Festivals The summer's top musical gatherings where you can experience the great outdoors, curse the rain, dance all day and enjoy an Angolan vegan-fusion barbecue. Glastonbury Gentrified it may be, but nothing says "festival" quite like a sprawling, rain-lashed Pilton dairy farm with the name Eavis on the letterbox. The days of free milk and getting one's dreadlocks caught scaling the fence may be long gone, but Glasters still combines vast musical variety (meat'n'spuds main stage, banging raves in copses) with a right-on spirit and the finest Angolan vegan-fusion barbecues.

Buying Trumpets Does The Price And Quality Of An Instrument Affect Its Tone Quality?

One of the most consistent and challenging tasks ballet instructors face is the job of finding good ballet class music to accompany their teaching. A lot of time and energy can be expended listening to samples online or auditioning CDs, and all of this effort can often end up being fruitless. There are a few very useful techniques that can be used to make this undertaking significantly easier and produce better results.

This is just a little too much and a little too soon.

Russell Armstrong's mother is now speaking out about her son's suicide and she's blaming Bravo for his death.

His mom John Ann Hotchkiss revealed that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reality show "destroyed" her son's marriage with Taylor Armstrong and the criticism he received from co-stars "hurt him deeply."

Speaking out to CNN, she said:

"What bothered me the most, I think, is on the program itself — and this is on video — he would be bashed by some of the other cast members. Especially Lisa [Vanderpump], who is a beautiful lady. I just couldn’t understand why she would be so unkind to him.

I know it hurt him deeply, because he would talk to me about it — never criticizing Taylor, of course. I would not want him to. The program itself just really brought him down."

About any possible signs that her son was unhappy, she continued:

"I watched it slowly destroy their marriage.

Before the new season even started, before he took his life, he said, 'Mom, they’re just going to crucify me this season.' He said, 'I don’t know what to do. I’ll never survive it.' I thought he meant businesswise or something. Perhaps there was a double meaning there. I don’t know."

This is just horrible. Did anyone in his family think to get help when they saw him go in a downward spiral?

And why would his mother come out on television and speak about his private life? His family and friends should really think twice about speaking out to the media. This is just such a sad situation. People are grieving and children are involved. It's time for them to be quiet now.

Big Brother 13 Episode 17 Recap plus POV Spoilers

We begin today′s Big Brother 13, Episode 17 recap and POV spoilers with first returning to the end of Thursday night′s live show. Brendon is back in the house with his beloved Rachel after defeating Lawon, who was evicted during the vote. The two battled it out for the right to be in the game and Brendon won. Naturally, this made Rachel very happy and had the opposite effect on Danielle and Kalia. Dick Donato′s daughter, Danielle, is once again the HOH for Big Brother 13. Image Credit: Nikki Nelson / WENN.com. The HOH competition followed and Danielle managed to win it. Needless to say, this put targets back on Brendon and Rachel. Brenchel then held a meeting with Jeff, Jordan, Shelly and Adam to firm up their alliance. Later, Danielle basically invited, or ordered, Brenchel to her HOH room for a conference. Danielle is seeking some assurance and deal. Rachel told her that she is ready to call a truce for the rest of the summer. Brendon was also willing to promise no nomination for at least a week, maybe more. Both suggested to Danielle that she deal with the floaters, Shelly, Adam and Porsche. Danielle wound up talking [...]

Blues Guitar Lessons: When the Quantity Should Have Nothing to Do With the Price You Pay

If Indie music is where your heart resides in the sonic landscape, then you've probably listened to the bands "Death Cab for Cutie", "The Decemberists", "Bright Eyes", "The National", and "Mumford & Sons", but have you heard of "Rocky Votolato, "William Fitzsimmons", or "Great Lake Swimmers"? If you have, that's wonderful, but I'm certain that you know of many bands and artists that my expanding ears never have been introduced to and would thank you immensely for. The problem is, how can local, emerging Indie bands have a chance at grabbing your soul through your headphones? Finding new music when you're craving something new to listen to but you can't find anything really is one of the most frustrating things, but when you do, it feels so great.

So horrible and sad.

Yesterday, we were very upset to hear that concertgoers were both injured and killed during a Belgian music festival due to a disastrous thunderstorm.

Now, the upsetting numbers are in, and we're hearing that 140 people were injured, 10 people were seriously injured, and 5 people lost their lives.

Here's what the organizer of the festival Chokri Mahassine had to say about the tragedy:

"This is the blackest day that any Belgian festival has experienced. [The event has been cancelled] out of respect for the victims, their relatives and friends."

We can only hope that the death toll doesn't rise any higher, and all the people who were injured make a speedy and full recovery.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to everyone who was affected by this tragic event.

When Justin Bieber Feels Jealous

This report shows the reader 10 really cool ways to utilize a metronome during your practice sessions that you may never have thought of before. I can think of many good reasons to why you would want to use a metronome when you practice. People are born with perfect pitch, but have you ever heard of someone being born with perfect time? I haven't. Time, as most people would agree, is something everyone needs to develop. This is where the metronome comes in handy.

According to TVLine’s Michael Ausiellio and Vlanda Gelman, Berg made the announcement while attending the Television Critics Association press tour, sharing that he and his partner Jason Katims are “very serious” about making the film and “intend to do it.” Since the series that stars Super 8’s Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton, actress Aimee Teagarden and Taylor Kitsch came to an end after five seasons last month this should be exciting news for fans who can now look forward to the return of their favorite characters. Squier Stratocaster Review

Are you excited to learn how to make rap beats as the pros are doing? Do you think that the easiest way to make your path in making remarkable rap beats is through the use of beat making software? Creating hip hop beats require creative thinking but the essence of the music also depends on the quality of sounds produced and the mixing of different music patterns that the listeners will surely love to hear. In a typical rap song, the rap beat is its soul aside from the message it wants to deliver to the crowd, therefore, it is crucial to consider the type of music tool in generating the beats for the song.
